Re-Grouting

So it's time to renovate your tile and make it new again? There is a way to restore that old tile.

Method number one is to stain that existing grout, stains these days have come a long way. With numerous stain colour options available, the sky's the limit.

Option number two is Re-grouting this allows you to not only liven it up but also change the colour.

In my experience, 70-80% of old tile can be made perfect again at a vastly reduced cost either by staining or re-grouting.

An example: a project that I worked on had tile dating back to the early eighties which was in perfect condition other than the grout. The customer was convinced of replacing the tile, so they went shopping for a new selection. They found that their eighties tile was in fact still being sold today and it was one of the most popular designs.

After changing the grout to a shade which would compliment the new paint, my client was able to save about 40% and is very happy.

Re-grouting or using stain are options that should always be considered. Please contact me for advice.
